When The Goldsmiths’ Centre announced the line-up for Shine 2021, its new Jewellery and Silversmithing showcase, Sheffield Assay Office were delighted to see that Josephine Gomersall had been selected as one of thirteen makers to showcase her work.

Cheryl Foster has worked for the Sheffield Assay Office for over 20 years and has now been elected by her peers to join The Guardians of the Standard of Wrought Plate, a body of people selected for their expertise to assist the Assay Master with the running of the business.
