Applications are now open for Season 2 of the BBC2 TV series All That Glitters, a talent search to find the country’s most talented up and coming jewellers.

An outstanding new video short was launched today by Analytical Services at Sheffield Assay Office showcasing the cutting edge technology and state of the art facilities in use by the UKAS accredited organisation.

Designs on Silver, The Golden Touch and The Brooch Unpinned are three interesting exhibitions taking place at The Goldsmiths Company, The Scottish Gallery and The Goldsmiths centre over the coming months. 

Applications are now open for the Elements: Festival of Jewellery, Silver and Gold 2021.

During International Women's Week earlier this year, Emma Paragreen, Curator here at Sheffield Assay Office joined forces with Sheffield Museums to deliver an online talk, sharing some fascinating stories of Sheffield's female silversmiths throughout the years.

Last year, students from the Starter Studio Programme at Yorkshire Artspace designed and made special commissions that are soon to be unveiled.
