Back in January 2023, a commemorative hallmark was approved to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III. This special mark is now available here at Sheffield Assay Office and we are delighted to see many of our registered customers jumping at the chance to utilise this time-limited mark.

Sheffield Assay Office have supported students at Sheffield Hallam University for 30 years and this year is no exception as we celebrate our 250th anniversary!

The Assay Assured Trustmark scheme is to re-launch today (Wednesday March 1st) with the support of all 4 UK Assay offices for the first time, with the relaunch including a brand-new Trustmark design featuring a crown in place of a castle, allowing for a unique certification number for each jeweller and will incorporate new options for multi-channel retailers.

UKAS Commercial Director, Mark Bohun, recently visited Sheffield Assay Office to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our accreditation to ISO 17025.

We are proud to announce that we have received and maintained a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 89 for the last 12 months.
