To celebrate the 250th anniversary of Sheffield Assay Office, Assay Master Ashley Carson treated all staff to a special day out at Doncaster Races during St Ledger week.

On Monday 11th September, Sheffield Assay Office held a special service at Sheffield Cathedral to give thanks to the city that has been our home for 250 years.

With great sadness, family jewellers C W Sellors recently announced the passing of their founder Christopher William Sellors. The team at Sheffield Assay Office are devastated by the news and send condolences to his family, friends and everyone that was impacted by his life's work.
