The Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Awards 2020

Sheffield Assay Office are proud to be sponsoring this unique competition again in 2020. The Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council promotes excellence in jewellery, smallwork, silversmithing and the allied crafts. These industry focused awards are open to everyone practicing in the UK. Eligible work must have been designed and/or made in the 12 months since the previous competition. All work submitted is judged by experts drawn from their specialist fields within the profession. The competition culminates in a prestigious awards evening at Goldsmiths’ Hall followed by an exhibition of award winning pieces and selected entries.
The Sheffield Assay Office would encourage registered customers of the office to apply. To enter, submit your work for one or more sections there are 31 sections in the competition. The Sheffield Assay Office was established in 1773, under an Act of Parliament and today the company assays and hallmarks the precious metals - silver, gold, platinum and palladium.
