The Gloves are Off for Environmental and Cost Savings

This month our Analytical Services Head of Administration, Joanne Adams, has been getting 'hands on' with an excellent cost-saving and environmentally friendly initiative.

With each of our 15 analysts needing to use 4 pairs of powder-free nitrile gloves per day, the department gets through a whopping 31,200 individual gloves per year!

After some diligent research into the matter, Joanne was able to implement the use of an alternative product - the Kimberly-Clark Kimtech Purple Nitrile Ambidextrous Gloves.

The change in product enables each analyst to use just one pair of gloves per 2 days reducing the numbers down to just 3,900 individual gloves per year.

This has given us an annual reduction in glove use of 87.5% and an 80% reduction in costs - which we has helped us to keep this year's price increases to an absolute minimum.

An amazing job Joanne!
