Sheffield Assay Office Take Part in Master Cutler's Challenge 2024
Published: 15th February 2024
The team here at Sheffield Assay Office are delighted to be taking part in the Master Cutler's Challenge 2024. Companies, organisations and individuals are given £50 by the Master Cutler to show their entrepreneurial flair and community spirit for the Master’s nominated charity - this year we're supporting the Sheffield Cathedral Schools Singing Programme.
Friday 26th January saw the first £50 cheque for the Master Cutler’s Challenge 2024 (MCC 2024) to be handed over to our Assay Master, Ashley Carson.
The MCC is supporting the Sheffield Cathedral Schools Singing Programme, the Assay Master said, “We are delighted to be involved in the challenge this year and the office team will use the £50 to prime the pump to raise funds for this important cause. Singing is a collective activity and raises confidence, aspirations and ability in young people so we will work hard to maximise our benefit to the Cathedral’s programme.”
The Master Cutler said, “I am delighted to be up and running with the first cheque handed out to such a great organisation. I am sure they will bring a lot of benefit to the appeal with their entrepreneurial approach to fundraising.”
