Please join us in offering huge congratulations to our Senior Analyst, Rachel Patterson who is celebrating her upcoming nuptials!
Rachel joined the Sheffield Assay Office team back in 2015, starting as a placement student from Sheffield Hallam University. Upon completing her degree, she joined our Analytical Services department full-time and is now a vital part of our team.
Both Sheffield Assay Office and the entire team, presented Rachel with some gifts to celebrate the forthcoming occasion. Our Assay Master, Ashley Carson said; "We wish Rachel and her future husband, Daniel every happiness for the future!"
The Sheffield Assay Office was established in 1773, under an Act of Parliament and today the company assays and hallmarks the precious metals - silver, gold, platinum and palladium. Sheffield Assay Office is one of only four UK assay offices who all work to uphold the Hallmarking Act of 1973 and continue to ensure consumer protection for customers purchasing precious metals.
