Sheffield Assay Office Staff Raise Funds to Change Young Lives
Published: 17th November 2020
On November 13th, the team here at Sheffield Assay Office organised a bake sale to raise much needed funds for BBC Children in Need 2020.
A delicious array of colourful cakes were available for sale, all donated by members of staff. Our thanks to Belen Morales, Jill Barnett and Jo Adams for organising the event. We are delighted to say that we raised £200.00, all of which will be going directly to Children in Need to make a huge difference to the lives of children and young people.

The Sheffield Assay Office was established in 1773, under an Act of Parliament and today the company assays and hallmarks the precious metals - silver, gold, platinum and palladium. Sheffield Assay Office is one of only four UK assay offices who all work to uphold the Hallmarking Act of 1973 and continue to ensure consumer protection for customers purchasing precious metals.
