Limited Edition Liberty Advent Calendars Donated to Benevolent Society's Annual Christmas Ball
Published: 18th December 2024
Staff from the Sheffield Assay Office were delighted to attend the Benevolent Society’s Annual Christmas Ball on Thursday 5 of December at the Grand Hotel, Birmingham.
Over 200 people attended the ball, which coincided with the 100th anniversary of the society.
The event, which raised a fantastic £28,000, shone a light on everyone the society has helped over the last century. This includes people experiencing ill health and financial hardship, as well as adult learners looking to enhance their skills and those seeking support with the cost of living. So far this year The Benevolent Society has provided more than £154,000 worth of help to people who need it most.
We were delighted to be able to donate two limited edition Liberty advent calendars to the auction.
It was a great pleasure to get together with colleagues and friends in the industry. We wish everybody a very merry Christmas, and a happy and prosperous 2025.
