Retail Jeweller's UK Retail Jewellery Awards 2024

On Wednesday 26th June our consultant, Sarah North, represented Sheffield Assay Office at the UK Jewellery Awards, which took place at the organisation's new iconic venue in Old Billingsgate, London.

Attended by over 600 people from across the industry including retailers, manufacturers, designers and jewellery professionals, and with presentations to winners in 20 categories, the event was a great opportunity for industry professionals to celebrate the successes and achievements of colleagues in the trade, and especially those of our own customers.

Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery was the big winner on the evening walking away with two gongs for Bespoke Jewellery Retailer of the Year and Ethical/Sustainable Jewellery Business of the Year respectively.

Other big winners on the night included fashion jewellery brand ChloBo, which scooped the coveted Jewellery Brand of the Year Award.

Meanwhile watch brand Seiko took home the trophy for Watch Brand of the Year.

Multi-store independent TH Baker was crowned Retailer of the Year (six stores or more) while Sonny’s Jewellers in Birmingham’s jewellery quarter walked away with the Jewellery Retailer of the Year (five stores or fewer) award.

Outgoing chief executive of the Houlden Group, Helen Haddow, was awarded the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award for her commitment to the Houlden Group, its retail members and supplier partners.
