Public Appeal: Help Recover Stolen Silver Box from Hanbury Hall

We urgently request your help in locating a treasured piece of local history stolen from Hanbury Hall. A cherished silver trinket box, bearing the Vernon family crest, went missing from the Cedar Bedroom during the morning cleaning on 23 March 2025.

While its market value is around £150, its true worth lies in its intimate connection to the historic family and the legacy of Hanbury Hall.

Please see below for further details.

If you have any information or have come across this silver jewellery box, please contact Droitwich police quoting the reference number 22/26325/25, or call the National Trust at +44 (0)1793 817400.
