Celebrating the Success of Goldsmiths North 2024

Goldsmiths North is an annual summer fair and shopping experience bringing the finest contemporary silverware & jewellery to the North of England, hosted in the magnificent Cutlers’ Hall in the heart of Sheffield and was held this year on 12th - 14th July.
Supported by ourselves here at Sheffield Assay Office, and The Goldsmiths Company, the event showcased outstanding silversmithing and jewellery from over 50 designer-makers from across the region. It was wonderful to see such a large number of exhibitors taking part and so many visitors attending.
Exhibitors over the three day event reported good sales and were delighted to have had the opportunity to showcase their talents at such an iconic venue here in Sheffield. Our Assay Office team, including Emma Paragreen, Sarah North and Assay Master, Ashley Carson, were on hand to offer information and advice to visitors and exhibitors alike, and were able to work closely with Goldsmiths Craft & Design Council (GCDC) and the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) who attended and shared our space. The event was a great opportunity for our organisations to bring more depth to the event, enabling us to offer focus from the whole trade at every level.
The craftsmanship on display was absolutely outstanding as ever, and with each passing year it's clear that this event goes from strength to strength.
